Introduction

Good preventive healthcare is an essential ingredient in making sure that your dog or puppy has a long, happy, and healthy life. The practice of protecting your dog from diseases by vaccination, and from parasites such as worms and fleas should start during puppy-hood and continue throughout his lifetime.

You should register your dog with your local vet as soon as possible. Your vet will be able to advise you on all aspects of canine health, and help you develop a preventive health care programme for your pet. Regular health examinations, at least annually, will ensure that problems are picked up as early as possible and treatment started. Should your dog show any signs of illness, ensure you seek early veterinary advice.

We advise all clients to have their dog vaccinated, wormed, and flea treated. However, it is of vital importance that these treatments are kept up to date. If you are one of our clients, we will advise you when they are due again.
