Hello, my name is Lisa Murphy I am a pet portrait artist and a garden designer. As an animal lover, I found myself taking more photographs of my client’s dogs and cats than their gardens! Our family cat ‘Purdy’ is my favourite subject.
A pet portrait is personally hand drawn using pastels and are fixed to stop smudging.
Pastels are a soft chalk that blend well and allow great detail to fur and features. I like to work from a photograph. A digital image of your cat or dog can be emailed as a jpeg to my email address.
If practical I can take a custom photograph of your pet to capture their character.
Good sizes for ready-made framing:
- 14” x 11”,
- 12” x 10”
- 10” x 8”.
For that unique look, a custom frame and mount can be organised.
Prices start from €60 (deposit of a third required).
