When setting up The Wagging Tail Pet Shop, our aim was to have a shop that pet owners could come to for advice on nutrition, to stock good quality dog treats and stock only educational and sturdy toys and gifts; ones that we would buy ourselves for the dogs in our own lives.
The recent trend in pet stores has been large impersonal box chain stores which all stock the same thing. Here at The Wagging Tail we strive to treat each of our customers both two and four legged as individuals.

The Wagging Tail Dunboyne Grooming Room
At the Wagging Tail we specialise in looking after our more nervous or elderly canine friends. Taking in a maximum of 4 dogs per day we spend the time needed with each of our doggie clients to ensure that they are relaxed and happy before we begin grooming them. All our state of the art equipment has been acquired with your dogs needs in mind. and we provide a relaxing area where dogs can be pampered and expertly hand groomed.
The owners get back a pet that they can show with pride. (The dogs themselves know how beautiful they look when they leave.) Our grooming salon offers a healthy, loving, immaculately clean environment. We strive to make your dog look as cute as you want it to look in your eyes, whether in a long or short cut.
