PHP membership includes unlimited FREE Vet Visits during normal opening hours in either of our locations, 7 days a week (including Sundays). FREE Vet Visits are NOT available on Bank Holidays / Out-of-Hours / Emergencies - a discounted consult fee is applicable on those occasions (20% Discount applies).

To clarify, PHP membership includes a Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease (C.I.R.D.) Vaccination (A.K.A. Infectious Bronchitis / Kennel Cough / Canine Cough Vaccination), an Annual Vaccination & Full Health Examination and a Wellness Blood Screen.

Please note Rabies Vaccinations are NOT included as part of PHP membership and are charged for separately.

The following are NOT included as part of your PHP membership as ‘Free Vet Visits’:
- Any medication (if required)
- Additional tests and treatments
- House visits / Housecalls
- Visits to other Vets
- Bank Holidays / Out-of-Hours / Emergencies
- Our Pet Healthcare Plan is similar to a gym membership i.e. we do not provide refunds if membership allowances are not used. The onus is on each owner to collect their pet’s allowance of flea and worming control every 3 months.

Attention Puppy Owners
Your friends in Cara Vets have recently expanded the benefits of our Pet Healthcare Plan (PHP) to apply to Puppies too. The PHP used to be exclusively for adult dogs, however, in order to support responsible pet ownership, we now provide Puppy Owners with the ability to join our PHP. When you sign your Puppy up to the PHP, you save the most amount of money possible.
Save even more money when your Puppy becomes a PHP member: Usually a Puppy's 1st and 2nd vaccinations cost €66 each. This amounts to a total of €132 to get a Puppy fully vaccinated. However, by joining the Pet Healthcare Plan (PHP), both of your Puppy's 1st and 2nd vaccinations (and much more) are included.
Easy to join: At the time of vaccination, (instead of paying €132) simply pay your 1st PHP payment of *€48.15 upfront, sign up to our Direct Debit and you can avail of all the benefits of the PHP listed above straight away on the day.
*The type of PHP you sign up to depends on the predicted adult weight of your dog.

- You can sign up in the Clinic / Hospital at any time
- Please bring your IBAN and BIC codes with you and pay the 1st payment of €48.15 upfront and you can avail of the benefits straight away.
