How to Request a Repeat Prescription
If your pet is already under our care and has previously been prescribed medication, you can request a repeat prescription by contacting the clinic directly.
To ensure safe and responsible prescribing, please allow a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for all repeat prescription requests.
We will contact you once your medication has been authorised and is ready for collection from:

Important Information Before Requesting Medication
All repeat prescriptions are subject to veterinary approval and clinical guidelines.
Please note:
- Your pet must be under the care of our veterinary team
- Some medications require a recent clinical examination before they can be dispensed
- Monitoring tests may be required for long-term medications
- Repeat prescriptions require a MINIMUM of 24 hours notice. Orders placed before 3pm will be ready for collection the next working day. Orders placed after 3pm will be ready 48 hours after placing order.
- Food orders require 48 hours notice.
This policy ensures your pet’s safety and compliance with Veterinary Council of Ireland regulations.
Why Do Some Medications Require Re-Examination?
Animals on prescription only medications, need to be seen by a Vet a MINIMUM of every 6 months.
